Karachaganak Expansion Project

The Karachaganak Expansion Project (KEP) is aimed at managing the increasing Gas/Oil Ratio of the Karachaganak reservoir fluid with time and capturing the value in the gas reserves through the optimisation and extension of the oil production plateau.

Gleeds remit was to undertake a Pre-FEED (Front End Engineering Design) estimate for the proposed new infrastructure.
