Helping to improve healthcare facilities in Slovakia.

Slovakia’s Poprad Hospital was able to open eight new operating rooms, due to the modernisation works supervised by our healthcare experts in Slovakia.

The refurbishment works has allowed the hospital to improve healthcare service and reduce waiting times for medical procedures.

More operations possible

Thanks to the modernisation project, the hospital will not only increase efficiency, but also expand the range of surgical procedures performed in the field of urology, cancer treatment and diseases of the circulatory, digestive and respiratory systems.

Our role

We provided financial and technical supervision services, which included creating due diligence reports, checking health and safety issues and confirming whether work was properly executed. All works provided were carried out while the hospital was operational.

In addition to supervising construction of the new operating rooms, we also supervised reconstruction of three of the hospital’s departments:

• Central sterilisation
• Diagnostic and interventional radiology
• Anaesthesiology and intensive care
