La Vallée Village

Building a bigger and better shopping experience.

When Value Retail decided to extend France’s most successful outlet mall, they turned to Gleeds to help manage the project.

Part of Disneyland Paris, La Vallée Village offers fashion label-lovers a pedestrianised, luxury shopping experience, bringing together 115 fashion and high-end boutiques across 3,900m² of retail space.  We project managed the construction of 24 new retail units as well as renovation work. 

Improved facilities

The existing village needed new paving, public toilets, emergency lighting and staff facilities. Challenges included:

  • A partially occupied site
  • A 13-month planning period that included 3 stopping periods, totaling 8 weeks

On time, on budget

Despite the delays, our flexible approach and good working relationship with the contractor allowed us to meet tight planning deadlines and stay on budget. We also helped integrate the Austrian contractor Strabag, informing them about relevant regulations on site.
